With our experience in East Africa and Indonesia and extensive research, we developed a procedure to optimize genetic diversity in coral farming and reef restoration. The [Coral reforestation procedure CRC, July 2020](/Coral reforestation procedure CRC_July_2020 .pdf) is written for coral restoration on natural substrate on the basis of asexual propagation. It can be applied to artificial reefs as well. The procedure will be under continuous development coming years depending on new experiences and research.
