An ANBI (= Algemeen Nut Beogende Instelling) is Dutch for PBO or Public Benefit Organisation. An institution can be qualified as a PBO when at least 90% of the institution’s efforts are focused on the general good. Natural and legal persons making donations to a PBO may be eligible to deduct their gifts from Dutch income tax or corporate income tax depending on the applicable conditions, which may vary per individual case and change over time in accordance with Dutch tax legislation. As a PBO, we must meet the conditions set by the Dutch Tax and Customs Administration. One of these conditions is the publication of our annual figures.
