We were fortunate that in 2019 the East African reefs, unlike other regions, were not influenced too heavily by climate change. In our area that is always the biggest destruction factor together with overfishing. We have started new projects in Kenya, Tanzania coast and as we speak, 2 new coral reforestation projects are being prepared on Zanzibar. In Kenya our new local partner Oceans Alive Kenya has started talks with a big donor to expand the project to approximately 8 locations. Keep you posted in 2020!
